Lura Care makes its presence known at ExCel London Care Show

29/04/2024

On 24 and 25 April, the Lura Care team had the pleasure of participating in the first Care Show in London, a two-day conference and exhibition boasting the most invaluable learning, networking, and thought-provoking opportunities for those working in the adult social care sector.

Over two intense days, we shared experiences and innovative visions with key thought leaders and suppliers in the adult care sector, who are transforming the care landscape for older people and people with functional diversity.

It was an excellent opportunity for us to present our domiciliary dental care services, which has been in service since our CQC registration in March. From our dental hub in Hampton Hill, we are in a position to bring oral health to care homes and day centres in London, South East and part of East England.

At Lura Care we have the objective to break the mobility barrier to care for dependent people or people with mobility problems who, due to their condition, cannot access the oral health services they need. We have developed an innovative model of mobile dental care services that adapts to the specific needs of our patients, whereby our specialised and highly skilled teams carry out the treatments on-site to avoid inconvenient transfers to clinics whenever possible, and with the special sensitivity they require.

We are also committed to preventive health, so we carry out free, no-obligation initial assessments on-site to evaluate the oral health condition of residents and their dental care needs, as well as training activities in care homes to help promote preventive health and healthy habits.

As a social impact company, at Lura Care we are committed to advancing towards the Sustainable Development Goals by promoting of good health and well-being (SDG 3), the reduction of inequalities (SDG 10) and the impulse of partnerships to achieve goals (SDG 17), as well as fighting the phenomenon of ageism that relegates millions of older people and restricts their rights to enjoy a full life with an optimal quality of life.

With this objective, we offer flexible and interest-free financing options for treatments, so that no person is left without the care they need for financial reasons, and we reinvest a portion of the revenue back into the centres through bonuses to help improve their services.

The entire Lura Care team is passionate about expanding our services across the UK, and we believe that we add value in improving the health, wellbeing and quality of life of thousands of people who are dependent or have mobility problems.

Because home dental care services are a real social need, and we are strongly committed to making them a reality.
